Nanoparticles (NPs) are strong colloidal particles with diameters ranging from 1nm–100 nm. They comprise of macromolecular materials and can be utilized therapeutically as adjuvant in immunizations or medication transporters. In this paper two fundamental sorts nanoparticles discussed i.e., metallic nanoparticle polymeric nanoparticle. Metallic is nano-sized metals measurements (length, width, thickness) inside the size range 1nm - 100nm. The properties, advantages, disadvantages characteristics metal nanomaterials brief review. Polymers most common for constructing nanoparticle-based drug carriers. used to form both synthetic natural polymers. This review summarizes synthesis fabrication nanomaterials. It describes about well quantum dots. gives insights Applications also included mainly focusing on biosensor, gas sensor, wastewater treatment environmental applications. tunable surface optical properties make perfect contender biosensing including analysis ailments, cellular imaging cancerous cell so on. Gas sensors have been numerous applications like monitoring oxygen content fuel mixture, observing food decay, health etc. Nanomaterials offer potential productive expulsion pollutants biological contaminants thus extremely valuable environment treatment. highly recommended future these their use healthcare sector.
